📋 Description

• Provide day-to-day support and optimization of Epic Inpatient clinical applications, including system builds, upgrades, and enhancements • Analyze inpatient clinical and operational workflows to identify optimization opportunities and improve patient care outcomes • Partner with clinicians, nursing leadership, and operational teams to gather requirements and translate clinical needs into Epic Inpatient solutions • Perform and document workflow assessments to determine functional and clinical requirements • Develop and execute system test plans for upgrades and enhancements; document test results and outcomes • Manage problem, incident, and change management processes • Provide daily on-call support for inpatient application-related issues • Communicate system issues, enhancements, and workflow changes to clinical and operational stakeholders • Evaluate software releases and new products and recommend process improvements and expense reductions • Oversee smaller projects or project components and coordinate implementation planning around software releases

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience supporting Epic Inpatient applications in a healthcare environment • 3+ years of relevant Epic Inpatient experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years without a Bachelor’s degree • Certification in Epic Inpatient Clinical Documentation or Epic Inpatient Clinical Orders required • Strong understanding of inpatient clinical workflows, including nursing, provider documentation, orders, and patient care processes • Experience in hospital and patient settings • Experience with Epic Inpatient builds, enhancements, and workflow optimization • Demonstrated experience with system testing, validation, and documentation • Clinical decision support experience is a plus • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Nursing, Clinical Informatics, Information Technology, or a related field preferred • Ability to provide daily on-call support as required
