📋 Description

• Lead the strategic and operational performance of SERB’s Rare Emergency Medicine and Rare Oncology businesses across the eastern United States • Drive regional access performance across Integrated Delivery Networks through leadership, coaching, and development of approximately five Directors of Strategic Accounts • Communicate frequently with the East DSA team, executive leadership, and cross-functional partners • Drive portfolio performance and delivery of regional Access KPIs • Analyze brand performance trends, identify opportunities and risks, and implement solutions • Participate in annual Brand Planning for Strategic Accounts • Build collaborative relationships with Marketing, Sales, Commercial Development, MSLs, and Value Access and Trade leadership • Recruit, develop, coach, and retain a high-performing DSA team • Establish performance expectations and provide coaching, feedback, development, and performance management • Build succession plans, career development, and a proactive talent pipeline • Translate national Access strategy into business plans for targeted IDNs • Optimize regional resources, customer engagement strategies, and business priorities • Support C-Suite and Pharmacy leadership partnerships within targeted IDNs • Support reimbursement discussions involving coding, payment information, NTAP, and Outlier Payment • Support quarterly access-focused system-level business reviews with IDN customers • Help DSAs navigate complex IDN environments and influence Healthcare Decision Makers • Drive execution of access levers including consignment, replacement, Budget Impact Models, value propositions, contracting, reimbursement, and quality improvement initiatives • Champion a One SERB approach and foster cross-functional collaboration • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Commercial Development, Value Access and Trade, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, and Commercial Operations • Lead regional readiness and execution for product launches, lifecycle management, and portfolio expansion • Travel 65% in large multi-state regions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in sciences or business required; MBA or MPH preferred • Minimum 5 years of National/Regional IDN acute care Access experience in a direct Access role; sales roles do not apply • Minimum 8–10 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device commercial experience • Minimum 5 years of Access field leadership experience building and leading high-performing teams • Demonstrated success driving Access-specific business results in acute care IDN markets • Experience commercializing injectable pharmaceutical products in IDN/hospital-based settings • Experience in emergency medicine, cardiovascular, critical care, oncology, rare disease, or specialty pharmaceutical markets preferred • Experience leading teams through in-line brand optimization and launch readiness activities • Deep understanding of specialty and acute care, P&T and Formulary processes, and DRG reimbursement • Experience promoting and driving access for a multiple-product portfolio in hospital settings • Demonstrated success leading project management teams within an IDN system • Strong collaboration and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders • Dynamic leadership qualities fostering trust and empowerment • Experience in growth-stage, emerging, or entrepreneurial pharmaceutical organizations • Strong financial acumen, analytical and critical-thinking skills • Ability to travel 65% in large multi-state regions
