📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain secure RESTful APIs and third-party integrations, primarily using Go • Partner with product, QA, and other engineers to turn business needs into reliable technical solutions • Guide API design, code reviews, and engineering standards • Focus on security, performance, and maintainability • Modernize legacy functionality into modular services • Improve testing, observability, and delivery practices • Mentor mid-level and junior engineers • Support a culture of learning and shared ownership

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience, including technical leadership on complex backend projects • Strong proficiency in a backend programming language and willingness to work in Go • Hands-on experience designing, securing, and integrating RESTful APIs and external systems • Experience with database design and performance using relational or document databases • Working knowledge of software architecture, CI/CD, and cloud-based development • Clear communication with technical and non-technical partners • Go, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MongoDB experience (nice to have) • Microservices, distributed systems, integration hubs, or service bus patterns (nice to have) • Docker and Kubernetes (nice to have) • Financial services or fintech experience, including SOC 2 or similar compliance frameworks (nice to have) • AI-enabled integrations, including Model Context Protocol (MCP) clients or servers (nice to have)
