📋 Description

• Monitor and triage security alerts and events using SOAR, SIEM, XDR, firewall, cloud, identity, and email security platforms • Analyze phishing emails, suspicious URLs, attachments, impersonation attempts, business email compromise indicators, and social engineering events • Conduct initial security incident analysis and escalate to senior analysts or management • Assist with investigations of data breaches, malware infections, and unauthorized access attempts • Create, update, and manage incident tickets • Contribute to SOC standard operating procedures • Report security incidents, activities, and metrics to management • Participate in threat hunting activities • Collaborate with IT and security teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities • Assist in implementing and maintaining security platforms • Stay informed about security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, security frameworks, and industry standards • Proficiency in configuring and managing Windows Server and Linux operating systems • Experience managing and maintaining computer systems and networks • Experience understanding, managing, and correlating log data • Familiarity with SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, identity, and endpoint protection solutions • Proficiency identifying and analyzing phishing, social engineering, credential theft, malware, unauthorized access, persistence, and data exfiltration • Experience with security incident management and response processes • Basic understanding of networking protocols and security concepts • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems • Availability for flexible hours, including overnights, weekends, and on-call support • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills • CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent certifications are a plus
