📋 Description

• Establish clinical understanding, access, and sales demand within long-term care facilities and pharmacies • Call on LTC facilities and affiliated entities daily through meetings, presentations, professional education programs, and other appropriate methods • Educate healthcare professionals, medical directors, administrators, directors of nursing, consultant pharmacists, and pharmacy directors on clinical profile, access processes, and appropriate utilization • Execute and track call and field productivity, meeting or exceeding account and customer call targets • Analyze territory information to develop target mapping, account plans, routing, and field-resource optimization • Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers at multiple levels • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and expand access and utilization • Execute brand sales strategies and consistent company marketing messages • Manage and grow existing long-term care accounts • Partner with reimbursement and market access teams to address patient access issues • Conduct business in accordance with regulations, company policies, and procedures • Maintain call documentation, access barriers, response metrics, sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback in Veeva CRM • Report field activities, territory expenses, and written reports by management deadlines • Identify and communicate field issues, opportunities, competitive activities, utilization gaps, drop-offs, and prescriber feedback • Collaborate with Regional Account Management, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Marketing • Represent the company at long-term-care medical and pharmacy association events • Create product education opportunities and work with local and regional thought leaders and professional societies • Manage company equipment and promotional materials according to company guidelines • Pursue continuous learning and professional development in sales, communication, managed care, and product knowledge • Attend company-sponsored meetings, national meetings, conventions, and other events as directed • Maintain knowledge of company products, industry trends, and competitor activities • Provide customer service and support to ensure satisfaction and loyalty

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) preferred • One of the following experience profiles: minimum five (5) years of pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience including long-term care sales; or minimum three (3) years of pharmaceutical sales experience with recent LTC Account Manager or similar experience; or three (3) to five (5) years of clinically focused long-term care experience • Experience calling on skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, LTC pharmacies, or consultant pharmacist networks • Experience selling in a complex reimbursement and access environment highly preferred • In-depth understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, product launch strategies, and long-term care market and practices highly preferred • Experience building rapport and relationships in long-term care settings • Ability to navigate long-term care systems and gain access to key decision makers • Proficiency in Veeva CRM, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and calendar-based call planning tools • Business-to-business experience and/or strong influencing skills • Documented record of demand generation, performance, and achievement in long-term care • Successful long-term care launch experience required • Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills • Strong clinical acumen and ability to communicate clinical data and high-level scientific product information • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and listening skills • Ability to work independently and collaborate internally • Proactive, self-starter, highly motivated, and problem-solving skills • Digital competence, including delivering presentations using an iPad • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook • Completion of full onboarding curriculum, clinical modules, CRM documentation, and fair balance call standards • Pass live call certification and mock objections during ride-along training • Attend refresher meetings on disease-state updates, HUB workflows, and patient retention strategy • Significant field travel, approximately 80% • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a complete background check • Valid licenses and credentialing required to conduct business in the assigned territory • Ability to drive or fly to target accounts, customers, meetings, and conventions • Some overnight and/or weekend travel may be required • Ability to conduct verbal presentations, travel by automobile and/or airplane, operate computer and telephone equipment, sit for extended periods, and lift, tug, or pull up to 15 pounds
