📋 Description

• Define the vision, strategy, roadmap, and commercial model for embedded payments globally • Own payments revenue as a distinct line of business • Design pricing and packaging across card acquiring, direct debits, and account-to-account rails • Manage payment service provider relationships, commercial terms, joint roadmaps, SLAs, and future multi-provider architecture • Build merchant adoption and activation programs with Sales and Customer Success • Develop buyer-facing checkout experiences and shift payment mix toward monetisable rails • Embed payments into Sidetrade Order-to-Cash workflows and ezyCollect collection journeys • Expand the embedded finance roadmap into virtual cards, working capital, business accounts, and agent-initiated payments • Partner with Legal, Security, and Finance on compliance, risk, chargebacks, insolvency exposure, and controls • Hire and develop payments product, operations, and commercial analyst teams • Report payments progress and economics to the steering group and executive committee • Track embedded payments, B2B payments, PSP, orchestrator, scheme, and regulatory trends

🎯 Requirements

• Built or scaled an embedded payments business inside a B2B SaaS company • First-hand experience with take rates, attach rates, payment mix, and P&L mechanics of payfac, reseller, and referral models • Fluency in card acquiring economics, including interchange++, scheme fees, and Level 2/3 data • Knowledge of ACH, SEPA, BACS, and real-time payments • Negotiated with and managed acquirers or payment service providers • Experience carrying a revenue number or P&L for a payments or fintech product line • Experience shipping payment experiences for large enterprise merchants and high-volume SMB bases • Working knowledge of regulatory landscapes across North America, the UK, and the EEA; Australia ideally • Knowledge of PSD2/SCA, surcharging rules, money transmission, and safeguarding • Proven ability to align Engineering, Design, Sales, Customer Success, Legal, and Finance • Exceptional executive, partner, and customer storytelling and presentation skills • Comfort presenting at board and C-suite level • Experience hiring and developing product managers • Familiarity with Order-to-Cash, accounts receivable, or collections workflows highly advantageous
