📋 Description

• Serve as lead coach and project manager for an assigned portfolio of chapters • Provide strategic and tactical fundraising advice to chapter leaders • Build effective and efficient fundraising programs focused on authentic relationships with mid- to major-gift funders • Coordinate with regional major gift officers on major-gift donor strategies • Lead development and execution of chapter fundraising plans • Facilitate regular chapter meetings and completion of mid- to major-gift fundraising activities • Coach chapters on grant strategy, identify potential grants, and collaborate with Grant Writers • Meet with external funders • Cultivate donor relationships, make asks, and steward donors when managing a chapter donor portfolio • Coach chapters on leveraging volunteer involvement in fundraising, particularly at the board level • Collaborate with Advancement and Membership Growth leaders, major-gift staff, mid-level managers, and chapter leaders • Serve as a major point of contact for staff involved in chapter fundraising

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience overseeing and implementing fundraising programs, preferably in a small non-profit • Deep understanding of identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding $1,000-$25,000+ individual gifts • Ability to understand, teach, and project manage mid- to major-gift fundraising programs • Extensive experience and expertise in coaching • Strong communication and relationship-building skills • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to present information verbally and in writing • Commitment to deepening understanding of systems of oppression through study, openness, and humility • Constructive, uplifting, additive approach with authentic kindness • Project management and logistics skills • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and meet fundraising goals • Skill using tact and diplomacy with confidential and sensitive matters • Deep understanding of donor-information confidentiality • Ability to travel occasionally for on-site chapter visits or meetings • Experience with Salesforce (strongest candidates) • Experience with fundraising operations and/or project management (strongest candidates) • Passion for environmental issues and local, grassroots activism (strongest candidates)
