📋 Description

• Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets • Ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols • Lead and motivate production teams, providing guidance and support • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment • Allocate tasks and responsibilities to ensure smooth workflow • Coordinate daily with the Plant and/or Operations Manager on production • Collaborate with quality control teams to maintain and improve product quality • Implement and enforce quality control processes • Identify process optimization, efficiency enhancement, and cost reduction opportunities • Implement improvements to enhance production performance • Train, mentor, and develop production staff • Support ongoing training initiatives • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct regular safety meetings • Collaborate with materials management to ensure an uninterrupted supply of production materials • Monitor and control inventory levels • Address production issues in real time, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams as needed • Maintain accurate records of production activities, quality control measures, and incidents • Communicate production goals, targets, and expectations to the team • Supervise production associates, including performance reviews, onboarding, discipline, and terminations • Hire new employees as needed • Administer attendance and vacation and approve daily employee timesheets • Collaborate with other departments to streamline production processes

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED • 5-7 years’ manufacturing experience • Minimum 2 years of supervision in a manufacturing environment • Strong mathematical skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office • Ability to work a 7pm-7am rotating schedule, including every other weekend • Must be authorized to work in the United States; the company does not sponsor employment-based visas • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily • Participation in E-Verify employment authorization confirmation
