📋 Description

• Serve as a subject matter expert in SEO and organic search • Develop and manage a portfolio of 4–6 SEO accounts • Drive and execute strategy, innovation, and performance for multiple client SEO strategies • Lead recurring status and reporting calls • Serve as the primary SEO point of contact for assigned clients • Communicate complex SEO strategy and execution details in a digestible, jargon-free manner • Act as a trusted advisor and consultant to clients • Translate channel strategy into time-bound tactical roadmaps • Build and maintain content systems including topic clusters, pillar pages, internal links, and supporting schema • Prioritize performance-based initiatives and drive authoritative content at scale • Research emerging search and AI technology trends • Review performance data, identify trends, measure initiative impact, and build actionable strategies • Collaborate with measurement, paid media, and creative teams

🎯 Requirements

• At least 2 years of agency experience • 3 years of overall relevant marketing/SEO experience required • 5+ years of experience preferred • Previous experience at a performance marketing agency • Hands-on experience optimizing for AI search, including actual testing • Experience with Generative AI and LLMs and their influence on search behavior • Fluency with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and other SEO platforms • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights • Experience driving content strategy based on audience, keyword, and competitor research • Ability to craft content briefs for content teams • Ability to build and execute SEO strategies across multiple industries • Ability to connect SEO results to measurable business impact • Comfort building client rapport, establishing expertise, and serving as the face of SEO engagements • Project and time management skills • Ability to work across multiple competing demands • No educational credential specified
