📋 Description

• Provide telehealth medical nutrition therapy using a functional and integrative approach, primarily for pregnancy and gestational diabetes • Assess patients’ nutritional health, prenatal needs, blood sugar regulation, and hormone-related conditions • Monitor and review daily blood glucose logs for GDM patients • Provide timely feedback, adjustments, and ongoing patient support • Educate patients on glucose meter use and blood sugar monitoring techniques • Develop and modify individualized nutrition care plans focused on glycemic control during pregnancy • Coordinate care with referring physicians and healthcare providers • Implement Simplex Health protocols and materials • Document new and follow-up appointments in Healthie • Respond to patient communications in a timely and supportive manner • Maintain a full and consistent patient caseload with timely follow-ups and continuity of care • Participate in team collaboration, case reviews, meetings, shared learning, committees, resources, and clinical initiatives • Stay current with emerging research • Adhere to company policies and procedures • Maintain at least 15 hours of weekly availability, with potential to grow into a higher-hour or full-time schedule

🎯 Requirements

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) • Current registration with CDR • At least 2 years of experience in outpatient or clinical care • Passion for women’s health, pregnancy, and gestational diabetes (GDM) • Integrative and functional nutrition approach to care • Experience or strong interest in prenatal nutrition, GDM, or hormone-related conditions • Minimum 15 hours of weekly availability • Credentialed or open to being credentialed with insurance companies • Must not maintain an active private practice or independent nutrition counseling business • PA license and completion of major insurance credentialing required before start • Availability for evening appointments strongly preferred • CDCES strongly preferred • IFNA Certified / IFNCP credential a plus; candidates actively enrolled in IFNA training welcome • Prior experience supporting pregnant patients or managing gestational diabetes preferred • Ability to document appointments in the Healthie platform • Strong attention to detail and timely patient communication • Ability to collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and team members • Ability to stay current with emerging research in women’s health, prenatal nutrition, and diabetes care
