📋 Description

• Support products transitioned from on-premises data centers into AWS Cloud • Strategize and implement cloud best practices for newly transitioned products • Maintain operational coverage of cloud environments and optimize, reengineer, and improve efficiency • Ensure SaaS products running in the cloud are stable and reliable • Enhance automation, scaling, process improvement, metric collection, security, and environment visibility • Implement DevOps approaches, including CI/CD processes • Work closely with development teams to enable secure and manageable production changes • Enable enterprise PaaS and SaaS offerings created by Platform teams • Serve as the point of contact for products and underlying AWS infrastructure • Work in Agile methodologies using Scrum and Kanban boards • Enable development teams with cloud best practices and AWS Well-Architected Framework knowledge • Design and implement scalable and reliable solutions with cross-functional teams • Improve end-to-end observability for cloud applications • Support on-premises applications and migrate them to AWS Cloud • Lead strategic initiatives for seamless application integration and optimal performance in cloud-native environments • Perform other duties assigned by the manager

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience • 5+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 1+ years in an Associate level role or external equivalent • Cumulative DevOps experience, with 70% Operations and 30% Development efforts preferred • Strong experience with containerization, Kubernetes, EKS, and CI/CD pipelines using GitOps methodologies such as ArgoCD and FluxCD • Experience with Git for version control; Azure DevOps preferred • Experience with monitoring tools, especially CloudWatch alerts, troubleshooting issues, and serving as an escalation point • Ability to configure, tune, and secure APIs/Microservices for optimal performance and uptime • Ability to use curl and wget for diagnostics, network performance analysis, and connectivity troubleshooting • Deep knowledge of HTTP concepts and protocols • Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code best practices • Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, and PowerShell • Expertise with AWS Transfer Family for large files, EC2 instances and AMIs, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, and Load Balancers • Proficiency in SQL and SQL administration, including database/schema/catalog configurations, users/logins, synonyms, and RDS performance troubleshooting • Knowledge of database hygiene concepts, data integrity, and efficient data storage • Experience with service mesh technologies such as Linkerd or Istio is a plus • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker is required • Strong network management skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience with Azure DevOps, including ticket management, CI/CD pipelines, release management, and Infrastructure as Code
