📋 Description

• Support products transitioned from on-premises data centers into AWS Cloud • Strategize and implement cloud best practices for newly transitioned products • Maintain operational coverage of cloud environments • Optimize, reengineer, and improve efficiency of SaaS product environments • Enhance automation, scaling, process improvement, metric collection, security, and product-environment visibility • Leverage DevOps approaches, including CI/CD processes • Collaborate with development teams to enable manageable and secure production changes • Become embedded within product teams to enable enterprise PaaS and SaaS offerings • Serve as the point of contact for products and underlying AWS infrastructure • Work using Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban • Enable development teams with cloud best practices and AWS Well-Architected Framework knowledge • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, reliable solutions • Improve end-to-end observability of cloud applications • Support on-premises applications and migrate them to AWS Cloud • Lead strategic initiatives for seamless application integration and improved system efficiency and performance • Perform other activities assigned by the manager

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience • 5+ years of industry and/or relevant experience • Typically 1+ years in an Associate level role or external equivalent • Cumulative experience in DevOps, with 70% Ops and 30% Development efforts preferred • Strong experience with Containerization, Kubernetes, EKS, and CI/CD pipelines using GitOps methodologies such as ArgoCD and FluxCD • Experience with Git for version control; Azure DevOps preferred • Experience with monitoring tools, especially CloudWatch alerts, troubleshooting issues, and serving as an escalation point • Knowledge of configuring, tuning, and securing APIs/Microservices • Experience using curl and wget for diagnostics and network troubleshooting • Deep knowledge of HTTP concepts and protocols • Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code best practices • Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, and PowerShell • Expertise with AWS Transfer Family, EC2 instances and AMIs, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, and Load Balancers • Proficiency in SQL and SQL administration, including database/schema/catalog configurations, users/logins, synonyms, and performance troubleshooting in RDS • Basic database hygiene concepts, data integrity, and efficient data storage • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker • Strong network management skills • Experience working in Azure DevOps, including tickets, CI/CD pipelines, release management, and Infrastructure as Code • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
