📋 Description

• Establish governance processes and performance management disciplines for North American logistics • Develop and execute logistics strategy across the United States and Canada • Create multi-year roadmaps for network optimization, warehouse footprint, transportation design, and customs compliance • Lead capacity, infrastructure, capital, operating expenditure, and scalability planning • Sponsor logistics transformation and continuous improvement initiatives • Evaluate automation, AI, TMS, WMS, and digital logistics technologies • Provide executive oversight for warehouses, fulfillment operations, and value-added services • Optimize inventory flow, service levels, space utilization, productivity, and cost efficiency • Establish warehouse performance metrics for productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, and customer service • Develop transportation risk management and business continuity plans • Direct inbound, outbound, intercompany, parcel, LTL, FTL, rail, air, and ocean transportation strategies • Design transportation networks balancing service, cost, resilience, and sustainability • Establish governance for import/export controls, country-of-origin compliance, classification, valuation, and documentation • Lead customs compliance, international trade operations, regulatory governance, tariff mitigation, and duty recovery • Develop and oversee FTZs, bonded warehouses, duty drawbacks, free trade agreements, and duty optimization programs • Assess geopolitical, regulatory, and trade risks and develop mitigation strategies • Represent logistics during audits, regulatory reviews, and government interactions • Develop strategies to minimize tariff, duty, and trade-related financial exposure • Partner with Finance and Tax to quantify and track savings opportunities • Manage relationships with logistics service providers, customs brokers, freight forwarders, warehouse operators, and transportation partners • Lead contract negotiations and commercial governance • Own logistics operating budgets and support capital planning • Develop multi-year cost reduction and productivity improvement plans • Build business cases for logistics investments, automation, and network redesign • Improve cost-to-serve, logistics cost percentage, inventory velocity, transportation spend, warehouse productivity, and working capital • Establish KPI-driven operating reviews • Build and develop a best-in-class North American logistics organization • Lead directors, managers, supervisors, and functional experts • Establish talent management, succession planning, workforce planning, mentoring, coaching, and leadership development programs • Drive employee engagement, accountability, ownership, and organizational capability development

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, International Trade, or related field required • MBA, certification, or advanced degree preferred • 15+ years of progressive logistics and supply chain leadership experience • 8+ years leading multi-site, multi-country logistics operations • Experience in industrial manufacturing, engineered products, automotive, aerospace, heavy equipment, or comparable industries • Demonstrated success leading warehouse operations, transportation networks, and international trade organizations • Proven leadership of large-scale transformation and change management initiatives • Experience managing complex 3PL, customs broker, and transportation provider relationships • Strategic thinking • Executive presence • Business and financial acumen • Organizational leadership • Change management • Supply chain expertise • Global trade knowledge • Risk management • Data-driven decision making • Negotiation and influencing • Talent development • Customer focus • Continuous improvement mindset
