📋 Description

• Own end-to-end solution architecture for Salesforce engagements across commercial, R&D and clinical, and patient services • Define data models, security models, integration architecture, and platform boundaries • Lead discovery and design workshops with client business and IT stakeholders • Convert ambiguous requirements into documented, buildable designs • Produce solution design documents, reference architecture diagrams, data models, integration specifications, and technical decision logs • Make and defend build-versus-configure-versus-buy decisions • Design integrations with life sciences data ecosystems and downstream analytics platforms • Establish architectural guardrails for governor limits, large data volumes, sharing, visibility, and technical debt • Serve as senior technical owner accountable for solution quality, technical risk, and design credibility • Partner with delivery leads and project managers on estimation, sprint scope, sequencing, and release planning • Own technical change orders and estimates • Drive resolution of stalled builds and escalate tradeoffs with recommendations • Represent solutions in client architecture review boards, security reviews, and validation discussions • Lead onshore US and offshore India development teams through work assignment, design walkthroughs, and code review • Run internal enablement on Life Sciences Cloud, Health Cloud, integration patterns, and life sciences business context • Establish reusable design templates, accelerators, coding standards, and delivery patterns • Structure distributed work, handoffs, and review gates across time zones • Mentor architects and senior developers and contribute to technical interviewing and hiring • Support presales through solution shaping, architecture slides, estimation models, and client-facing presentations • Contribute to practice intellectual property and competitive positioning • Advise clients on the Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud and Health Cloud roadmap

🎯 Requirements

• 10 or more years in enterprise technology delivery • 7 or more years on the Salesforce platform • 3 or more years in a solution architect or lead architect capacity • 5 or more years delivering to pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device clients • Working fluency in commercial, medical, clinical, and patient services operations • Hands-on delivery experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Health Cloud • Direct experience with Veeva CRM or Veeva Vault CRM • Track record of personally authoring solution design documents, data models, and integration specifications • Enterprise integration experience using MuleSoft, Workato, or Boomi • Comfort with REST and SOAP APIs, event-driven patterns, and batch data flows • Experience leading development teams, including offshore resources, with accountability for technical output and growth • Credibility with client directors and executives • Ability to explain technical tradeoffs to non-technical audiences • Working knowledge of GxP and computer system validation, 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA, and GDPR • Certifications are not required • Preferred: consulting or systems integrator background • Preferred: Veeva-to-Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud migration or displacement experience • Preferred: Salesforce Data Cloud, Data 360, or Agentforce design experience • Preferred: Marketing Cloud, Marketing Cloud Growth, or Marketing Cloud Advanced exposure • Preferred: familiarity with IQVIA, Symphony, Komodo, MMIT, Veeva Network, Reltio, or Informatica • Preferred: Salesforce DevOps and release management experience with SFDX, CI/CD pipelines, Copado, or Gearset • Preferred: Advanced Therapy Management experience • Preferred: experience contributing to reusable accelerators or productized offerings
