📋 Description

• Diagnose and repair commercial cooking, refrigeration, warewashing, and specialty food-service equipment • Read wiring diagrams and schematics • Build relationships with customers • Work independently, manage your schedule, and solve problems without constant supervision • Participate in an emergency on-call rotation • Travel overnight occasionally • Keep commercial kitchens running for restaurants, hotels, hospitals, and other businesses

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent • At least one year of technical experience in refrigeration, HVAC, appliance repair, commercial kitchen equipment, or military service • Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record • Willingness to participate in an emergency on-call rotation, including some nights and weekends • Ability to travel overnight occasionally • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship • EPA, CFESA, or other relevant licenses, training, or certifications • Commercial refrigeration or cooking-equipment repair experience • Ability to prioritize your workload and work independently • Ability to frequently kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, and reach • Ability to occasionally lift up to 70 pounds • Ability to work around moving equipment, pressurized steam, open flames, hot surfaces, electricity, humid kitchens, and freezing walk-ins • Ability to occasionally use ladders and work on rooftops
