📋 Description

• Manage the organization’s payroll function, ensuring pay is processed on time and accurately. • Manage a multi-state, multi-union payroll for approximately 2,000 employees. • Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems. • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. • Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors. • Generates reporting, data, and analytics corresponding to payroll. • Coordinates with compensation team on annual merit planning process. • Identifies and recommends updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures. • Performs other duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required. • Five to seven years of related experience required. • Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong supervisory and leadership skills. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. • Proficient with payroll software. • Knowledge of Workday or Ceridian payroll a plus.
