📋 Description

• Perform general corporate duties and compliance activities • Handle HR matters, personnel issues, employee contracts, conflicts of interest, ethics, LMS training, PII protections, and 401K fiduciary requirements • Manage risk activities and collaborate with insurance company legal teams to minimize claim settlements • Negotiate commercial contracts with end-user customers and business leaders • Address customer contract terms, project claims and delinquencies, lien matters, and use AI legal tools • Maintain all business licenses for the organization • Support acquisition-related activity, including purchase agreements and protections • Support corporate legal needs and control outside attorney costs, including IP data software licenses, facility leases, business licenses, and class action lawsuits • Support delinquent accounts receivable to avoid bad debts or agency charges through early intervention • Maintain surety relationships and monitor outstanding bonds • Participate in disputes with vendors • Participate in union activities and wage matters • Conduct compliance audits • Centralize the company-wide contract landscape and digital filing • Develop company SOPs as appropriate • Establish vendor/contractor COI management processes and a centralized repository

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school • 10+ years of employment and contract litigation experience • Significant responsibility in complex federal and state court cases, including strategy, major motion practice, and depositions • Experience working with service and manufacturing industries • Substantial employment law background is a plus • Excellent legal writing and research skills, with a track record of high-quality briefs and motion work • Strong courtroom presence and oral advocacy skills • Comfort arguing motions • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and thrive in a team-oriented, trial-focused environment • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills • Ability to manage multiple high-stakes matters simultaneously • Proficiency with litigation technology and tools necessary for efficient in-office and remote work
