📋 Description

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients throughout treatment • Take inbound calls from patients and external customers, answering questions and triaging as needed • Conduct quality follow-up calls for insurance compliance reporting and patient wellness • Ensure patients are seeing results, comfortable with the device, and adhering to therapy • Coordinate and arrange shipping for initial device deliveries, replacement products, and returns • Assist patients with device issues through troubleshooting or forwarding complex needs to a respiratory therapist • Accurately record information in the internal patient database • Communicate effectively with Patient Account Liaisons, Patient Advocacy Specialists, Training Coordinators, and Billing Specialists • Complete miscellaneous tasks supporting the Reimbursement team • Follow healthcare regulatory and compliance rules • Follow Electromed's mission and core values while pursuing company goals

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent healthcare experience • 1+ years of clinic, hospital, or DME experience • Proven customer service skills • Superb written and verbal communication skills with patients and team • Ability to work well on a team • Proficiency in communication technologies, including email, cell phone, and desk phone • Basic computer skills • Self-starter with positive attitude • Ability to act with empathy and respect to resolve patient concerns • Ability to prioritize and organize • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Call center experience helpful • Prior knowledge of HFCWO helpful • Insurance reimbursement experience helpful • Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred • Understanding and adherence to local, state, and federal healthcare regulatory and compliance rules • Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer
