📋 Description

• Prepare indirect tax filings accurately and timely • Work with the company’s filing agent to ensure state reports are filed accurately and timely • Own the member reimbursement process, including processing physical checks • Perform month-end reconciliations of the outstanding check list • Manage the company’s escheatment process • Clear daily cash transactions • Prepare comprehensive month-end cash account reconciliations • Manage corporate credit card activity by coding and booking expenses accurately • Perform month-end corporate card reconciliations • Serve as an operational owner within day-to-day accounting functions and report directly to the Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • 1–3 years of hands-on corporate accounting or operational accounting experience • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (US GAAP) and general ledger operations • Proficiency with cash reconciliations, expense processing, and multi-state/corporate compliance tasks • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet key monthly deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Excellent communication skills and effective collaboration across internal teams and third-party vendor partners • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables • Experience with or ability to quickly learn modern accounting systems such as Sage Intacct
