📋 Description

• Coordinate the operational lifecycle of the MPH Applied Practice Experience from student readiness and planning through completion and required documentation • Serve as a primary operational liaison among the MPH program, students, preceptors, practice sites, Career Services, academic advising, and other university partners • Communicate with students regarding APE requirements, timelines, documentation, and next steps • Coordinate collection and initial administrative review of preceptor CVs or résumés, practice site information, and student practicum plans • Route materials requiring academic judgment, competency review, exceptions, or final academic approval to designated Public Health faculty or program leadership • Maintain practice site, preceptor, affiliation agreement, student progression, and APE completion records • Maintain practice site and preceptor directories and support systematic evaluation of practice sites and student experience • Maintain relationships with public health, healthcare, governmental, nonprofit, community-based, and other organizations to expand APE opportunities • Identify and report current and anticipated APE capacity needs and support student placement planning • Coordinate affiliation agreement development, routing, tracking, renewal, and communication • Track student progress, identify missing or delayed items, and escalate irregularities or barriers • Collect and organize student, preceptor, and practice site feedback and completion data • Provide reports, KPIs, trends, risks, and recommendations to Public Health program leadership • Support CEPH accreditation documentation, evidence requests, self-study preparation, and monitoring activities • Monitor operational compliance with university requirements, practice site requirements, and approved APE procedures • Develop, document, maintain, and review standard operating procedures • Analyze operational data, processing times, student progression, practice site capacity, and partner feedback • Support implementation of approved APE workflows and documentation standards • Recommend process improvements improving efficiency, transparency, quality, and accreditation readiness

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in public health, healthcare administration, higher education, education, business administration, or a related field • 1+ years of experience in public health, higher education, experiential education, student services, program administration, accreditation, compliance, or a related setting • Ability to manage complex processes, documentation, deadlines, and multiple partners • Demonstrated experience using data to support operational decisions, student success, or quality improvement • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, database systems, and technology platforms used for student support, program management, or experiential education • Preferred: Master of Public Health or related graduate degree • Preferred: Knowledge of CEPH accreditation requirements and MPH Applied Practice Experiences • Preferred: 1+ years of experience coordinating practicums, internships, field education, service learning, or other applied practice activities • Preferred: Experience working with public health agencies, healthcare organizations, governmental organizations, nonprofit organizations, or community-based partners • Preferred: Certified in Public Health (CPH), if applicable • Preferred: Experience with reporting, workflow tools, or experiential learning management platforms • Remote employees must have access to a reliable internet connection and a dedicated, properly equipped workspace free of distractions • Employees must reside in and work from one of the approved states
