📋 Description

• Provide strategic, operational, and cultural leadership for academic programs at SNHU's online Global Campus • Ensure high-quality academic programs and learning experiences, learner-focused support, effective faculty, and high-functioning teams • Serve as an enterprise systems leader connecting people, strategy, and operations across academics and the wider SNHU ecosystem • Lead multiple academic program teams and coordinate cross-unit functions and initiatives aligned with institutional priorities • Prioritize learner persistence toward graduation and efficient use of team resources • Manage Academic Deans and Executive Directors providing discipline-specific and cross-team leadership • Lead portfolio strategy and execution using learner, operational, market, fiscal, and product-health insights • Ensure academic integrity, quality, governance, regulatory compliance, and accreditation requirements • Lead strategic initiatives, organizational transformation, and changes to operating models, technology, processes, policies, and ways of working • Coach and develop Academic Deans and Executive Directors and strengthen succession pipelines • Establish evidence-informed decision-making and translate data into measurable action • Simplify and standardize processes and improve organizational effectiveness, capacity, and speed to value • Identify responsible technology and AI enablement opportunities • Build enterprise partnerships and align stakeholders around common outcomes • Foster accountability, learning, collaboration, experimentation, and continuous improvement • Steward organizational resources and capacity • Monitor higher education, workforce, market, technology, AI, academic model, and learner-expectation trends • Measure and communicate organizational and portfolio performance • Report to the Vice President of Academic Programs at Global Campus

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive higher education leadership experience successfully leading cross-divisional initiatives with enterprise impact • Doctoral degree or equivalent terminal degree • Equivalent of experience in lieu of degree acceptable • Knowledge and experience within online education at large scale • Experience with a variety of modalities, faculty and course design models, learner experience development, and faculty management • Experience with development of policies and standard operating procedures • Systems thinking, complexity navigation, outcomes-based design • Enterprise perspective, strategic prioritization, shared accountability • Change strategy and sequencing, stakeholder mobilization, change adoption • Strategy-to-action translation, portfolio/program leadership, execution discipline • Data literacy, sensemaking, evidence-based decisions • Process simplification, operating model design, continuous improvement • Influence across departments, relationship building, constructive conflict resolution • AI opportunity identification, human/technology work redesign, responsible adoption • Talent/skills assessment, dynamic resource deployment, leader development • Must reside in and work from one of the approved states • Reliable internet connection and dedicated, properly equipped workspace free of distractions
