📋 Description

• Build product features across the front end and back end for NG and SMRTR TRAC • Design and work with PostgreSQL data models and queries, plus some MongoDB, with attention to performance • Fix defects and improve product reliability • Build and maintain REST APIs and integrations with ERP systems such as SYSPRO, Microsoft Dynamics 365, VAI and NCR • Contribute to AI document capture, including classification and data extraction, and the print-to-NG driver • Turn requirements from Professional Services, Sales and customers into working software • Estimate tasks and deliver to agreed dates • Support go-lives and troubleshoot production issues • Write tested, reviewed and secure code in a GitHub-based workflow with CI/CD • Write technical documentation and release notes • Use AI-assisted development tools

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience • Production experience with Vue.js, TypeScript and Node.js • PostgreSQL: schema design, SQL and query performance • JVM experience, preferably Scala • Experience building REST APIs and integrating with third-party systems • Git-based workflows, code review and automated testing • Clear communication with colleagues and, when needed, customers • Authorized to work in the United States or Canada • Set up for remote work • Nice to have: MongoDB • Nice to have: Android or Xamarin • Nice to have: ERP integration experience (e.g., SYSPRO, Microsoft Dynamics 365, VAI, NCR) • Nice to have: Document management, OCR or AI document capture • Nice to have: Experience with manufacturing, distribution or food & beverage software
