📋 Description

• Run inbound and sourced leads through Soluna's qualification framework, evaluating power cost and curtailment profile, interconnection status and queue position, land control, fiber and water availability, and counterparty credibility • Produce one-page qualification summaries for each lead • Recommend whether opportunities should advance, be parked, or be passed, documenting the reasoning • Maintain the lead intake queue • Build first-pass economic screens for qualified sites, including estimated power cost, capacity sizing, indicative capex, and top-line return • Run sensitivities on energy price, curtailment hours, hashprice or contracted AI/HPC revenue, and time to energization • Pressure-test counterparty assumptions against market data and flag unsupported claims • Maintain a clean, reusable screening model • Track opportunities across ERCOT, SPP, MISO, and PJM, including interconnection queue movement and curtailment trends • Update the pipeline tracker and executive summary for leadership • Research markets, utilities, and counterparties to support live deal conversations • Present a summer project to the Development & Strategy team and senior leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an MBA program • Expected graduation date following the internship period • Strong Excel modeling skills; comfortable building a screening model from a blank sheet • Demonstrated analytical judgment and ability to reach defensible answers with incomplete information • Clear, concise written communication • Genuine interest in energy, digital infrastructure, or the intersection of the two • Preferred: prior experience in energy, infrastructure, project finance, investment banking, private equity, or corporate development • Preferred: familiarity with U.S. wholesale power markets, interconnection processes, or renewable project development • Preferred: exposure to market data platforms such as Orennia, Velocity Suite, or similar • Preferred: working knowledge of Bitcoin mining economics or AI/HPC data center demand drivers • Preferred: comfort building PowerPoint presentations for investor- and board-facing audiences
