📋 Description

• Serve as Senior Counsel in the growing legal department, reporting to a Deputy General Counsel • Support the company’s global operations and procurement functions • Draft and negotiate vendor and procurement agreements, including technology agreements, software licenses, SaaS and business tooling agreements, enterprise systems and platforms, marketing and event agreements, facilities-related agreements, professional services agreements, and AI tools • Work with internal teams on vendor governance, policies, risk mitigation, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations • Negotiate privacy, information security, regulatory, insurance, and data protection aspects of procurement agreements • Collaborate with legal and non-legal functional teams on procurement issues • Advise on contract disputes and issues arising from vendor agreements • Develop and refine procurement processes, standard terms, templates, and playbooks for a high-volume contracting environment • Provide legal and strategic business advice and ensure agreements align with internal corporate policies and processes

🎯 Requirements

• JD with at least one state bar membership and eligible to practice in your state of residence • At least seven (7) years of experience drafting and negotiating commercial transactions • Experience supporting procurement agreements is preferred • Strong work ethic and self-starter, with a growth mindset • Flexibility in working hours in a global enterprise • Detail-oriented; ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects; strong project management and organizational skills; ability to work well under pressure and deadlines • Strong personal communication skills, both written and oral • Excellent judgment, strong business orientation, and ability to translate legal risk into practical commercial advice within business objectives • Strong interpersonal, communication, and management skills; ability to build trust and strong relationships with procurement and cross-functional stakeholders • Experience supporting a high-growth infrastructure SaaS company • Track record of performing with a sense of urgency and excelling in a fast-paced environment
