📋 Description

• Record, review, and reconcile daily financial transactions • Monitor bank transactions and research variances, exceptions, and unusual activity • Gather and maintain invoices, payment records, account support, and financial documentation • Respond to internal and external accounting inquiries • Research and resolve billing discrepancies and payment-related issues with travel agents and management • Assist with month-end close, account reconciliations, journal-entry support, account analysis, and reporting preparation • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities • Support compliance with accounting policies, procedures, internal controls, and documentation standards • Prepare ad hoc reports, reconciliations, and financial analyses • Collaborate with team members and internal partners on financial reporting and issue resolution • Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows, accuracy, responsiveness, and efficiency • Support special projects and other team priorities

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent • Knowledge of bookkeeping principles, accounting practices, and financial reporting • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel • Experience supporting month-end close and account reconciliation activities • Familiarity with accounting software, ERP systems, or expense management platforms • Experience in a high-volume, transaction-focused, or customer-service-oriented environment • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while meeting tight deadlines • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with strong communication and collaboration • Adaptability and willingness to take on responsibilities outside core duties • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred • Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience, ideally in the travel industry, preferred • Experience with Galileo/Travelport+ or a similar travel industry platform preferred • Availability during Pacific Time Zone business hours is essential • Honesty, trustworthiness, and ethical conduct are material requirements
