📋 Description

• Operate and maintain in-place cybersecurity solutions and platforms • Review logs and reports from security tools, workstations, servers, and network devices • Interpret security activity and provide feedback to leadership • Participate in investigations of anomalous activity • Serve as a first responder and assist with initial investigations of potential security events • Assist with the cybersecurity operations ticket queue rotation • Participate in the cybersecurity on-call rotation • Maintain operational configurations according to established baselines and security best practice • Participate in vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits • Provide on-call support for end users and security solutions • Monitor security solutions for efficient and appropriate operations • Maintain knowledge of the IT security industry, emerging threats, solutions, processes, tools, techniques, and technologies • Recommend and implement additional or enhanced security solutions • Participate in projects and department initiatives • Assist with internal security projects • Perform daily management of assigned security solutions • Serve on the incident response team as needed • Participate in incident response planning and testing exercises • Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Associate Degree (or equivalent work experience) from a regionally accredited institution in Information Security, computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a closely related field • Two (2) or more years of direct Cybersecurity experience, preferably as a cybersecurity engineer or similar role maintaining cybersecurity safeguards at a financial institution • Direct experience maintaining and operating current security platforms is preferred • One or more relevant cybersecurity certifications preferred, including GIAC or CompTIA certifications such as Security+, CySA+, GSEC, GCIH, GMON, GCIA, GSOC, GCED, or GCDA • Strong security mindset and understanding of financial sector regulatory requirements and security best practice • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment • Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to research security issues and products • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language • Highly self-motivated and directed • Keen attention to detail • Team-oriented and skilled in collaborative environments • Must effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, reports, and cash denominations, and identify customers • Must have a secure home office and reliable private internet connection not supplied by cellular data • Travel may be required to attend meetings as needed
