📋 Description

• Provide technical and programmatic support to the SSBN In-Service Program Office (PMS396) • Support the Fleet and Technical Support APM with technical logistics guidance for the in-service submarine Fleet • Coordinate between Submarine Fleet stakeholders, NAVSEA and SSP Program Offices, and NAVSUP and DLA supply communities • Research and resolve supply support impediments • Prioritize contracting actions and coordinate with DCMA/SIB to improve supplier performance • Work with ICP/ISEA contacts to identify alternate material solutions • Develop reliable vendor partnerships for reverse engineering obsolete parts • Lead end-to-end part lifecycle activities, including identification, technical data research, funding, contracting, manufacturing, testing, and vendor qualification • Support identification of financial programming and resourcing needs for PMS396L2 Division operations • Coordinate with internal and external partners on urgent logistical inquiries and goal alignment • Analyze processes, implement enhancements, and deliver cost-effective logistical solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a business or technical field • 7+ years proven experience in logistics operations within the Federal Supply System • Experience translating technical feedback into actionable procurement, repair, and inventory decisions • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Ability to optimize logistics and supply chain processes • Ability to work effectively under pressure and navigate rapidly changing circumstances • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities • Knowledge ensuring alignment of technical decisions with DoW Supply System operations • Current DoD security clearance, minimum Secret, with ability to maintain it throughout employment
