📋 Description

• Code production-ready prototypes, modular front-end components, and core user-facing features • Redesign and refine key features and flows • Identify visual issues and UX friction • Participate in project kickoffs to understand the product and audience • Propose visual direction and design solutions • Champion application performance, WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility, and codebase maintainability • Collaborate directly with leadership and contribute to mission-critical defense projects

🎯 Requirements

• Typically 4+ years of Frontend or Design Engineer experience • Strong portfolio of shipped interfaces demonstrating both design and front-end build experience • Deep, professional experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript • Highly fluent with Tailwind and modern CSS fundamentals, including container queries, cascade layers, specificity, OKLCH color spaces, view transitions, flexbox, and grid • Strong understanding of accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.2/WCAG 2.2 AA • Strong understanding of core performance metrics, including Core Web Vitals and Lighthouse • Understanding of design workflows and their technical or hardware constraints • Ability to write clean, maintainable code • Ability to independently audit and evaluate LLM output • U.S. citizenship required • Must be able to obtain or currently hold a Secret or Top Secret U.S. security clearance
