📋 Description

• Design, deploy, administer, and optimize enterprise IT infrastructure across cloud and hybrid environments • Manage and maintain servers, networking, storage, and SaaS platforms; monitor performance and availability • Perform patching, backup verification, health checks, and Azure/AWS cloud infrastructure tasks • Administer Entra ID groups, roles, service principals, Conditional Access, MFA, password reset, and identity lifecycle automation • Manage Intune compliance policies, configuration profiles, app deployments, Windows Autopilot, macOS enrollment, and mobile device management • Administer Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, SaaS access policies, and Microsoft 365 licensing • Implement and administer AI solutions, including platform deployment, MCP server connections, and enterprise integrations • Administer endpoint security tools, support vulnerability remediation, and collect audit evidence for ISO 27001 and SOC 2 • Resolve complex Tier 2/3 infrastructure escalations and develop escalation playbooks and operational runbooks • Mentor Associate Systems Administrators and contribute to SLA/OLA monitoring • Participate in CAB processes, maintain the ITAM database, and contribute to problem management investigations • Write PowerShell or Python scripts, automate onboarding/offboarding, and build Power Automate flows • Respond to infrastructure and service incidents, conduct root cause analysis, prepare post-incident reports, and support on-call coverage • Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and IT asset/configuration documentation • Execute quarterly IT operational plans and team OKRs and contribute to cross-functional projects • Report directly to the Director of Information Technology

🎯 Requirements

• Candidate must be authorized to work and reside in the United States; we currently do not sponsor immigration visas • 4+ years of progressive IT experience, including 2+ years in a systems administration role • Hands-on experience administering Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and Linux, along with core infrastructure components such as servers, networking, and storage • Experience supporting cloud infrastructure tasks (VMs, storage, networking) in Azure and/or AWS, and administering SaaS platforms for performance and availability • Proficiency administering Entra ID (Azure AD), including dynamic/assigned groups, roles, service principals, Conditional Access policies, MFA enrollment, and self-service password reset • Experience managing Microsoft Intune device compliance policies, configuration profiles, app deployments, and Windows Autopilot/macOS enrollment workflows • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams • Familiarity administering endpoint security tools (Microsoft Defender, EDR) and supporting vulnerability scanning, remediation tracking, and compliance evidence collection (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2) • Experience with ITIL-based ITSM practices, including participation in Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes and IT asset management (ITAM) database maintenance • Scripting ability in PowerShell or Python for operational automation, and experience building low-code workflows (e.g., Power Automate) for service request processing • Ability to work independently with limited direction while collaborating with managers on prioritization • Consistently professional verbal and written communicator, able to present complex technical topics in accessible terms to non-technical stakeholders • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to clearly articulate issues and propose effective solutions within the function • Willingness to contribute to an on-call rotation and act as a technical responder for infrastructure and service incidents • AWS certifications and Microsoft certifications are nice to haves, not required • ITIL Foundation certification is a nice to have, not required
