📋 Description

• Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction. • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and pursue new client relationships. • Build executive level relationships and work with customers at the most senior levels to identify opportunities and translate them into a commercial strategy. • Plan, coordinate and participate in new business/client prospecting. • Monitor and evaluate key customer strategies, business trends and growth priorities. • Provide transparent financial and operational assessment of the health of our customer relationships. • Partner and collaborate across various internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, product development) to ensure cohesive execution of strategies and initiatives that meet client needs. • Lead negotiations and contract discussions to secure profitable deals. • Reduce contractual and commercial friction to improve customer experience. • Develop industry specific knowledge. • Drive thought leadership across the CCO and cross-divisional commercial organizations.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or CFA is preferred. • 15+ years of experience in Sales and Relationship Management, Product Management, Commercial Operations or other customer focused roles required. • Deep knowledge of Financial industry, Buyside segment, market trends and cross-divisional understanding of the S&P Global portfolio. • Proven track record in managing large accounts or business segments. • Diversified experiences driving and implementing growth initiatives and experience in leading transformation. • Confidence in navigating and building relationships with C-Level executives. • Well-balanced strategic and operational mindset. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective relationship management. • Data and metrics drive. • Able to resolve issues in a variety of complex situations. • Considers best practices and lessons learned to evaluate solutions. • Strategic partnership lens and ability to think across the end-to-end customer value chain. • Person in this role is required to work from NY office at least 3 days a week.
