📋 Description

• Set the strategy, standards, and priorities for online slot-game mathematics across the product portfolio • Lead, mentor, and develop Game Mathematicians, building technical expertise and judgment while strategically assigning resources across the game portfolio • Oversee the design and approval of slot math models, including reel strips, paytables, bonus features, jackpots, progressives, and feature triggers • Ensure game targets—including RTP, volatility, hit frequency, bonus frequency, prize distribution, and maximum exposure—support player experience and product goals • Establish consistent practices for mathematical calculations, simulations, model validation, documentation, code review, and implementation verification • Review complex or high-risk game designs and provide final mathematical direction when significant design, exposure, or regulatory tradeoffs arise • Partner with Game Design, Engineering, and Operations to deliver mathematically sound and regulatory-ready games • Advance reusable simulation tools, math libraries, and development processes that improve quality and efficiency • Monitor market and competitor performance, translating relevant findings into improved game mathematics, player engagement, and portfolio decisions • Communicate mathematical performance, risks, resource needs, and recommendations to executive leadership • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related quantitative field • Mathematics major or minor required • 10+ years of experience in iGaming mathematics or slot-game development, including a strong track record of launching commercial and/or regulator-approved games • 5+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams and mathematics functions or game portfolios across multiple games, markets, studios, or jurisdictions • Expert knowledge of slot mathematics, including RTP, volatility, prize distributions, jackpots, and feature balancing, with experience developing, validating, and launching commercially released and/or regulator-approved games across multiple markets • Strong business judgment and communication skills, with experience managing budgets, resources, priorities, and risk while effectively communicating technical strategy to key stakeholders • Working knowledge of C#, Java, C++, Python, or comparable programming languages and modern software-development practices • Expert foundation in probability theory, statistics, combinatorics, expected-value analysis, Monte Carlo simulations, and game mathematics
