📋 Description

• Service and fuel heavy equipment including scrapers, excavators, dozers, tractors, wheel loaders, water trucks, pick-ups, and other support equipment • Check and fill fluid levels, service lube points, and perform routine preventative maintenance • Maintain service, repair, and maintenance records daily • Assist in maintaining inventory of service kits, lubes, oils, and other supplies • Coordinate equipment service activities with production and maintenance team members • Perform preventative maintenance services on fuel and lube trucks as needed • Perform preventative maintenance services on construction equipment as needed and required • Repair damaged auto-greasing system injection lines on heavy equipment • Troubleshoot and repair greasing system problems • Follow verbal and written instructions and communicate with supervisors and fellow employees • Keep the work area clean and orderly, including weekly cleaning of fuel and lube trucks • Complete daily work assignments in a timely fashion • Promote safety and production by ensuring compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations • Participate in morning safety meetings • Maintain preparedness to deploy spill kits and participate in cleanup of fuel or lubricant spills • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High School or equivalent required • 1-3 years of technical field experience servicing heavy equipment and trucks • Valid Driver’s License with good driving record required to drive company vehicles • CDL Class A or B with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement is required • Proficiency in spoken and written English is a mandatory requirement • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals • Ability to work early in the morning in the dark using truck-mounted and portable lights • Ability to type and operate an electronic tablet and the Fuel Management System scanning and logging system • Ability to perform daily pre-shift safety inspection on a Class 8 truck with air brakes • Ability to safely operate the Fuel & Lube service truck on dirt roads with grades up to 10% in dry, wet, or snow conditions • Ability to drive a manual transmission semi-truck • Ability to work wherever projects are located and continuously travel between project sites • Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check and drug test
