📋 Description

• Build and lead Spring Health’s vendor and BPO management program across revenue cycle and payer operations • Create strategy, frameworks, and SOPs for sourcing, onboarding, performance monitoring, and renewals • Serve as the main point of accountability for BPO and vendor partnerships • Own partner performance, staffing levels, escalations, reporting, business reviews, and relationships • Allocate work between internal teams and BPO partners as backlogs, priorities, service levels, and seasonal volumes change • Hold partners accountable to KPIs, SLAs, quality standards, and contract terms • Monitor productivity and utilization while maintaining quality for providers, members, and clients • Own vendor and BPO budget and spend, including forecasting, re-forecasting, savings, ROI, and cost-to-serve reporting • Set sourcing strategy and lead RFPs, build-versus-buy-versus-outsource evaluations, renewals, and discontinuations • Partner with Finance, Legal, InfoSec, and Compliance on contracts, renewals, security, privacy, HIPAA, and compliance standards • Consolidate and standardize the vendor portfolio and set long-term relationship direction • Use AI to automate performance reporting, data reconciliation, SOP creation, and outsourced workflows • Track efficiency gains including throughput, handle time, and cost per transaction • Lead high-priority escalations and special projects involving third-party partners • Report to the SVP, Revenue Infrastructure and collaborate with revenue cycle, payer operations, finance, legal, and security leaders

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in business operations, program management, or vendor management, ideally in healthcare operations and/or a high-growth environment • 4+ years of direct experience managing external partnerships • Experience running RFPs and managing a large and growing portfolio of vendor relationships • Track record of building a new vendor, workforce, or similar operations-intensive program from scratch and scaling it • Experience owning vendor budget or spend, with demonstrated savings or ROI • Experience managing outsourced operations and allocating work across internal and outsourced teams in a high-volume operation • Strong analytical skills and ability to turn complex performance and financial data into recommendations • Working knowledge of contract negotiation, SLA design, and vendor risk and compliance reviews • Hands-on use of AI tools and experience implementing AI or automation that measurably improved operational throughput • Strong communication and stakeholder influence skills • Highly organized approach and close attention to detail • Nice to have: offshore or nearshore BPO operations experience • Nice to have: post-merger or acquisition operations/vendor portfolio integration experience • Nice to have: familiarity with behavioral health, provider billing, and/or revenue cycle management • Nice to have: experience with contract management platforms and project management tools • Nice to have: familiarity with workforce management concepts and tools, including volume forecasting, queue management, or capacity modeling • Passion for mental health
