📋 Description

• Own the candidate side of active searches from initial conversation through start date • Engage experienced engineers, designers, and engineering leaders • Convert sourced names into interested and qualified candidates • Lead recruiting conversations assessing technical experience, motivation, compensation, notice period, and counteroffer risk • Prepare candidate submittals and manage candidates through interviews and debriefs • Own closing activities, including compensation pre-close, resignation planning, counteroffer protection, references, and confirmed start dates • Maintain disciplined follow-up and ensure every pipeline candidate has a clear next step • Target three strong candidate submittals per active search • Contribute to the firm's goal of two to three placements per month while ramping • Build and maintain candidate relationships throughout the search process

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of agency recruiting, executive search, or comparable technical recruiting experience • Demonstrated success proactively recruiting and engaging passive candidates • Strong phone skills and ability to build credibility with experienced professionals • Clear, direct written communication • Ability to work independently • Track record of producing results in a remote environment • Comfortable engaging passive candidates, navigating live objections, and making 40+ outbound recruiting calls per week • Experience in electric utility, power delivery, energy, or heavy engineering preferred • Experience in substation, transmission, distribution, protection and controls, or power systems studies preferred • Experience with engaged or retained search is a plus • Ability to learn a specialized technical market quickly and build credibility within it • High-volume light industrial or clerical staffing experience alone is insufficient for the role
