📋 Description

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facilities, equipment, and associated systems • Repair fire systems, tube systems, nurse call systems, infant abduction systems, life safety components, paging systems, medical gas systems, locks, and doors • Perform repairs according to work orders or verbal instructions and document completed work • Identify and request parts and components needed for tasks • Work with vendors, contractors, and factory representatives on equipment repair and replacement • Assist contractors and personnel with water and fire system connections and shut-offs • Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs • Change light bulbs, replace ballasts, and install light fixtures • Perform carpentry and minor construction projects • Assist with maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including debris removal, heavy lifting, material movement, floor sweeping, and material storage • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Two years' experience • Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facilities, equipment, and associated systems • Basic plumbing and electrical repair skills • Appliance repair skills • Carpentry and minor construction skills • Ability to repair or install drywall, walls, flooring, ceramic tile, cabinetry, countertops, shelving, and painting • Ability to perform frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling of objects weighing 0–25 lbs • Ability to perform occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling of objects weighing 25–50 lbs • Ability to maintain constant alertness and work safely • No professional license or certification required
