📋 Description

• Contribute to revenue cycle operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and proper reimbursement entitlement • Improve revenue through comprehensive understanding of the revenue cycle • Collaborate with clinical and financial leaders to strengthen charge capture through data analysis, education, training, and compliance monitoring • Design, improve, and implement process improvements • Serve as a resource for health ministry clinicians, coworkers, and coding • Lead audit/project evaluations according to Revenue Integrity leadership • Review medical record documentation to determine charge accuracy, coding assignments, billing compliance, and medical necessity • Collaborate with coding and financial departments to identify additional revenue opportunities according to payor guidelines • Meet with departmental leadership to review findings, documentation standards, and improvement recommendations • Participate in team development, dashboards, departmental goals, and objectives • Identify charge trends and compile information for focused departmental reviews • Monitor EPIC Revenue Integrity Dashboards with coworkers • Provide coding, documentation, regulatory, and compliance guidance • Provide group and one-on-one training and orientation on charge accuracy, coding/billing compliance, and DTAR/Charge Reconciliation • Maintain current knowledge of Charge Description Master, Charge Preference List, and Flowsheet Charging to support bill/claim production • Stay current with regulation changes and operational processes through conferences, workshops, and in-house sessions • Contribute to improvement initiatives and assigned KPI performance-board objectives • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated understanding of revenue cycle processes and data integrity • Strong analytical skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Epic • Extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of revenue cycle operations • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience • Three years’ experience within a hospital organization or physician practice environment • Candidates must reside in Missouri, Illinois, Oklahoma, or Wisconsin • Ability to perform frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling of objects weighing 0-25 lbs. • Ability to perform frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements • Ability to use vision and depth perception for near and far distances and distinguish colors • Ability to use hearing and speech for oral communication and hear alarms and malfunctioning machinery • Frequent keyboard use/data entry • Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, and grip • Ability to occasionally lift/carry and push/pull objects weighing 25-50 lbs. • Ability to rarely climb • No professional license or certification required
