📋 Description

• Develop scalable, modular, and real-time embedded software architectures for the autonomous vehicle platform • Lead the design, development, and validation of safety-critical embedded platform software • Architect firmware interfacing directly with sensors, compute modules, and the base vehicle • Mentor and guide team members • Provide technical leadership and conduct code reviews • Apply safety guidelines and implement robust fault handling • Coordinate tasks among team members to achieve on-time delivery • Support vehicle testing and field deployments • Diagnose and resolve embedded software issues in real-world scenarios

🎯 Requirements

• Expert in C++ for embedded systems development for safety-critical systems • Strong understanding of RTOS concepts and programming, including FreeRTOS or SafeRTOS • Experience with safety-critical standards such as ISO 26262, DO-178C, IEC 61508, IEC 62304, or similar • Technical leadership experience in a small team • Hardware abstraction layer (HAL) and BSP development • Multithreaded and real-time software design • Understanding of CAN and Ethernet communication protocols, ideally in an automotive context • Has taken at least one product through production, including maintaining the product with paying customers • Residence, U.S. person status, and/or citizenship status may be subject to verification due to national security requirements • May need to satisfy U.S. export control requirements or obtain a U.S. government export license
