📋 Description

• Prepare, review, and submit product and policy form filings to state Departments of Insurance • Research insurance laws and regulations • Develop responses to regulatory objections and inquiries • Partner with internal stakeholders to incorporate compliance requirements into products, forms, and processes • Support implementation of approved product and form changes across the organization • Contribute to compliance programs, policies, procedures, training, and risk management activities • Collaborate with underwriting, claims, marketing, technology, business teams, and regulatory agencies

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience • 3+ years of experience in insurance compliance, insurance regulatory affairs, or a related insurance function • Strong knowledge of individual or group insurance products, preferably including Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, Disability, and/or Life insurance • Experience preparing and submitting Department of Insurance (DOI) product and form filings preferred • Experience researching and interpreting state insurance regulations and regulatory requirements preferred • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional business partners • Experience supporting product implementation, regulatory change management, or compliance risk programs preferred • Successful completion of criminal background investigation and employment, education, and licensing verification • Must be bondable
