• Serve as a strategic business partner supporting IT strategy formulation, vendor governance, and continuous cost optimization • Lead data-driven analysis and recommendations for long-term operating expense and delivery model optimization • Manage professional staff supporting strategy enablement, vendor governance, and TBM services • Coach staff, provide continuous feedback, support development, and conduct succession planning • Build relationships with IT and business leaders to support technology strategy decision-making • Lead project definition, idea generation, and business case development for cost-optimization roadmaps • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis and deliver actionable insights and recommendations • Analyze technology, market, and industry trends affecting the business • Plan and execute workstreams for management-defined and enterprise projects • Oversee presentations and strategic communications regarding critical IT issues • Lead strategic vendor analysis and selection, peer benchmarking, cloud migration strategy, and infrastructure automation analysis • Lead service-costing strategy and implementation of Technology Business Management capabilities • Partner with the TBM Analytics team to connect management reporting with business and technology strategies • Use TBM software capabilities to improve understanding of IT performance, cost, quality, and value • Develop and maintain service-costing processes for annual planning and technology-service demand management • Improve consumption forecasting and operational data quality to align total-cost-of-ownership analysis with cost-transparency objectives • Communicate IT-service consumption, volumes, and allocation drivers to management through presentations
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, or Operations Research • 8–10 years of progressive Finance, Strategy, or Management Consulting experience, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience • Experience leading high-performance teams accountable for executing strategic initiatives • Prior experience in Technology Business Management (TBM) or CIO advisory work • Experience in a rapidly changing environment and proposing, justifying, initiating, and implementing change • Highly developed problem-solving and analytical abilities • Ability to frame problems, analyze solutions, and build detailed financial models • Knowledge of strategic IT planning and financial management practices, including budgeting, cost allocations, capital and operating expense handling, and product roadmaps or capability-driven funding models • Understanding of IT domains and services • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Alteryx • Strong project management and organizational skills • Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills • Strong ability to influence • Professional certification preferred: CMA, CSCA, FP&A, Balanced Scorecard certification, CTBME, ITIL, or IT4IT • Familiarity with Apptio preferred • Candidates must be bondable • Criminal background investigation and employment, education, and licensing verification required as a condition of employment
