• Lead the Voluntary Benefits business project management team • Provide leadership and oversight of projects and project managers • Ensure efficient and effective delivery of Voluntary Benefits priority projects using proven methodologies • Manage the work environment and identify workforce needs • Ensure team alignment with Voluntary Benefits strategic priorities and goals • Provide hands-on team leadership, coaching, and employee development • Ensure effective performance management practices are in place • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the project management framework • Build relationships with business leaders to understand objectives and priorities • Maximize project productivity through effective resource assignments, training, monitoring, and coaching • Identify and implement process improvements focused on quality, delivery, and customer service • Lead discussions with key business stakeholders on project performance and desired outcomes
• Minimum 6–7 years of progressive experience as a project manager leading projects advanced in operational expertise • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a project management leadership position • Prior voluntary benefits or EB experience highly preferred • Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies preferred • MS Project proficiency preferred • Ability to proactively initiate work contributing to overall team performance • Ability to adapt to multiple changing work demands and adjust team priorities • Ability to recognize the impact of internal and external challenges on future business-unit or function success • Successful completion of criminal background investigation and employment, education, and licensing verification • Must be bondable
