📋 Description

• Manage large furniture projects involving multiple nationwide customer locations • Work collaboratively as part of a customer-focused team • Create project timelines and manage deadlines and project complexities • Read construction drawings, furniture specification plans, and architectural drawings • Understand building interfaces for electrical and data • Budget projects, allocate resources, and mitigate risk • Interact with trades and end-user client groups • Present project information using strong spoken and written communication skills • Travel approximately 40–50% annually within the market area and approximately an additional 10% out of market, including some overnight stays

🎯 Requirements

• Must live in St Louis, MO; Kansas City, MO; Chicago, IL; Indianapolis, IN, or close proximity • Experienced furniture Project Manager with large-project and multiple nationwide customer-location experience • Ability to work as part of a team with strong customer focus • Expertise creating project timelines and managing deadlines and project complexities • Working knowledge of building interfaces for electrical and data • Ability to budget projects, allocate resources, and mitigate risk • Strong spoken and written communication skills • Good presentation skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to read and understand construction drawings, furniture specification plans, and architectural drawings • Excellent project management skills • Strong business acumen • Strong interpersonal skills • Good computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks • Great attention to detail • High School Diploma required • Minimum of three (3) years of project management and/or design and/or construction experience required • Bachelor’s Degree desired • Furniture dealership or furniture manufacturer experience preferred • CAPM or higher preferred (PMP)
