📋 Description

• Process, make system changes, solve problems, and test Payroll systems • Conduct payroll audits and participate in payroll projects as a subject matter expert • Lead process improvement initiatives and cross-functional project teams to optimize finance and business operations • Mentor junior analysts and provide training on complex payroll transactions • Collaborate with IT, HRIS, and Tax resources to ensure seamless project execution • Drive implementation of tax updates and system upgrades • Analyze business performance and recommend actions for increased profitability • Advise business leaders by sharing financial expertise and insights • Manage and report on project progress and deliver key milestones • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws • Contribute to strategic planning and business strategy alignment • Champion process excellence and foster continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working with payroll • Demonstrated experience leading process improvements and cross-functional teams • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with relevant software tools • Strong leadership, mentorship, and team-building skills • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and projects • Expertise in financial analysis and process optimization • Experience with payroll, tax updates, and system implementations • High degree of discretion and independent judgment in decision-making • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective business partnering • Ability to drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance • Passion for continuous improvement and innovation • Experience in a large, matrixed business environment • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members • Knowledge of HRIS and IT project collaboration is a plus
