📋 Description

• Own the growth and profitability of DP products nationwide • Develop approaches to rating, exposure management, and capital modeling • Develop pricing for new products and enhance pricing for existing products • Expand products into new geographies • Analyze profitability drivers, including loss ratios, actuarial indications, frequency/severity trends, retention, and other data across products, books, and channels • Manage rate filings across multiple states to achieve required returns across products and segments • Develop and implement data-driven action plans to improve performance • Find innovative approaches to improve pricing beyond traditional solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Four years or more of experience in insurance • Experience managing property products, preferably personal lines (HO or DP) • Understanding of the current US property market • Nearing actuarial accreditation with the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) • Passed a minimum of 5 actuarial exams • Builder’s mindset; ability to take projects and products from inception to launch and beyond • Exceptional technology skills and strong product sense • Ability to learn and implement new software and processes • Strong technical and analytical skills • Willingness to work in an earlier-stage tech company and significant time investment • Ability to work in the United States; applicants must be authorized to work in the US • Must be able to work in-office at least five days a week if selecting an office-based arrangement, or be willing to relocate near the office location • May not require employment visa sponsorship currently or in the future
