📋 Description

• Own and continuously improve Stedi's company financial model, including revenue, expenses, headcount, cash, and long-range forecasting • Build metrics, models, and reporting infrastructure for accurate, consistent, traceable business performance analysis • Own annual planning and ongoing forecasting processes • Develop reporting and analysis explaining performance against plan and drivers of revenue growth, gross margin, operating expenses, and cash • Partner with Accounting on monthly results, accounting considerations, actuals versus projections, management reporting, forecasts, and models • Build models for customer and product economics, pricing, gross margin, infrastructure costs, investment decisions, and long-range growth scenarios • Own company-wide headcount and spend planning • Develop and maintain cash and runway forecasts across operating scenarios • Automate financial data collection, reporting, and analysis using modern tooling and AI • Work with the Head of Finance & Operations and CEO on major company decisions, board discussions, and strategic questions • Report to the Head of Finance & Operations and collaborate with the CEO and leaders across the company

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience across FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, consulting, or similarly rigorous analytical roles, including meaningful experience operating inside a high-growth startup • Exceptional financial modeling skills and ability to build a model from raw inputs through a decision-ready output • Understanding of the relationship between financial statements and operating metrics • Ability to connect business mechanics to financial performance, forecasts, and analysis • Highly technical for a finance professional, with ability to automate workflows and work directly with underlying data • Experience using modern tools and AI to build reliable financial systems • Ability to independently structure ambiguous strategic questions and develop rigorous analyses • Ability to clearly communicate complex financial analysis • Ability to design scalable processes and systems from scratch • Ability to work with precision, urgency, and accountability • For United States-based applicants: currently authorized to work in the US • For United States-based applicants: disclose whether a visa is required now or in the future
