📋 Description

• Represent the university from a home office in the greater Houston or Dallas/Fort Worth areas, covering the entire Texas territory • Assist senior admissions leaders in developing and expanding recruitment initiatives to increase enrollment • Work with internal and external university partner offices on student recruitment and yield activities • Travel to college fairs, high school visits, community college visits and other outreach programs • Build relationships with school counselors, CBO advisors and other education representatives • Build territory outreach plans using in-person, virtual, email, phone and paper follow-up • Support targeted recruitment programs, including alumni engagement, student development, volunteer programs, electronic communications, recruitment technologies, parent engagement, fly-in programs, counselor tours and advisory boards • Advise students, families, school counselors, IECs and university partner offices on admissions and enrollment processes and policies • Provide university and program information sessions throughout the admissions cycle • Coordinate targeted-population recruitment programs, projects and events • Engage with state, regional and national admission associations and recruitment networks • Analyze territory performance data and reports and recommend follow-up actions • Evaluate admissions applications holistically and make recommendations on applicants • Conduct follow-up to increase application completion and yield rates • Travel to campus periodically throughout the year and work occasional early morning, evening and weekend hours • Perform other duties or projects as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s Degree (foreign equivalent or higher) • One (1) year of full-time professional experience in a college or university setting • Proficiency with technology, office software and communication systems • Must have, keep and maintain the appropriate valid Driver’s License • Motor vehicle record free from major violations or a pattern of repeat violations • Experience in admissions counseling and recruitment preferred • Experience reviewing applications for admission and making recommendations for admission preferred • Experience working with diverse populations and working independently preferred • Experience with higher education technology platforms, including SLATE, preferred • Experience with program planning, implementation, assessment and innovation preferred • Resume/CV and cover letter required with the online application • Unable to sponsor candidates for work visas

🏖️ Benefits

• $4,150 UUP annual location pay, paid biweekly • Eligible for overtime provisions of the FLSA • Home office-based work arrangement • Full-time term appointment
