📋 Description

• Design and build AI platform features including agent tool systems, prompt pipelines, integration APIs, and edge-deployed services • Build TypeScript services using Hono, Cloudflare Workers, Durable Objects, D1/Drizzle, and the Anthropic AI SDK • Build scope-aware tool systems exposing orders, inventory, and knowledge-base capabilities to AI agents • Design fault-tolerant integrations with downstream Elixir/Phoenix services • Own features from technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production monitoring • Build agentic AI features including tool calling, context management, multi-step workflows, and confidence-based routing • Implement prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, and observability • Integrate machine-learning model outputs through API layers with Data Scientists • Contribute to agent orchestration, skill registries, and human-in-the-loop patterns • Contribute to architecture through design documents, code reviews, and technical discussions • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers • Identify technical risks, propose improvements, and advocate for quality • Collaborate with Product Management and Design on feature development • Support product engineering teams adopting AI capabilities • Participate in sprint planning, design reviews, and cross-team syncs

🎯 Requirements

• TypeScript (2+ years in production) • Experience building and shipping LLM-powered or agentic features in production • Experience with prompt engineering, tool/function calling, and context management • Experience building stateful or high-availability services • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs, OpenAPI specifications, and event-driven architectures • Strong SQL fundamentals • Hands-on experience with Cloudflare, GCP, or AWS • Experience instrumenting production systems with OpenTelemetry, Datadog, or similar • Strong communication, collaboration, ownership, accountability, production mindset, learning agility, and independent technical judgment • Elixir/Phoenix, Cloudflare developer platform, Anthropic Claude, AI SDK, MCP, logistics/e-commerce/supply chain, WebSocket, scope-based authorization, multi-tenant systems, or open-source contributions are nice to have
