📋 Description

• Lead academic program direction for site-based learning partnerships across Capella and Strayer universities • Ensure high-quality site-based learning experiences and achievement of healthcare program outcomes • Oversee the site-based learning/practice education team, including data collection, quality improvement, governance, and operations • Review program, site-based learning outcomes, and learner-experience data to identify improvement opportunities • Analyze analytics reports, summarize findings and recommendations, and track implemented changes • Oversee learner site vetting, approvals, administration, and complex affiliation requests • Ensure site-based learning processes support accreditation mandates and standards • Liaise with internal cross-functional partners, deans, academic leaders, faculty directors, and external partners • Resolve complex placement, site, and administrative issues • Oversee communications and change management with preceptors, site supervisors, and students • Oversee site-based learning orientations and training • Contribute to specialized accreditation processes, learner manuals, standards, and outcomes assessments • Conduct audits to support continuous quality improvement and learner success • Foster clinical site partnerships and coach the team in placement best practices

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in higher education, healthcare education, clinical education, practice education, clinical placement operations, or a related field • Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in academic, clinical, workforce development, or healthcare settings • Experience collaborating with healthcare organizations, clinical sites, faculty, preceptors, and other stakeholders • Ability to work effectively within a matrixed organization and lead initiatives across multiple teams and external partners • Knowledge of clinical placement processes, affiliation agreements, compliance requirements, clinical education technologies, and site partner expectations preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to travel as required/needed • MSN from an accredited Nursing program, required • Earned doctorate from a regionally accredited institution in Nursing or closely related fields, required • Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license, preferably a compact state license • For APRN candidates: active Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner License • For APRN candidates: must maintain clinical practice as defined by state licensure, AANP and/or ANCC • All degrees must be conferred by an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States • Visa sponsorship is not available • Required access to a suitable remote-work setting with privacy, reliable internet, phone, and video-conferencing capability • Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant • Must meet critical-thinking, problem-solving, and communication requirements
