📋 Description

• Ensure high-quality site-based learning experiences and achievement of outcomes across healthcare programs at Strayer and Capella Universities • Review program, SBL outcomes, and learner-experience data to identify improvement opportunities • Analyze analytics reports, summarize findings and recommendations, and track the impact of implemented changes • Oversee learner site vetting, approvals, administration, and complex affiliation requests • Ensure site-based learning processes support accreditation mandates and standards • Serve as liaison with internal cross-functional partners • Resolve complex placement, site, and administrative issues • Oversee communications and change management with preceptors, site supervisors, and students • Oversee quality of site-based learning orientations and training • Contribute to specialized accreditation processes, learner manuals, and SBL standards and outcomes assessments • Conduct audits of SBL processes for continuous quality improvement and learner success • Manage and provide oversight to the SBL/practice education team • Collaborate with deans, assistant/associate deans, program/faculty directors, university departments, Site-Based Learning and Services, Portfolio, and academic leaders

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in higher education, healthcare education, clinical education, practice education, clinical placement operations, or a related field • Minimum of 2 years leadership experience in academic, clinical, workforce development, or healthcare settings • Experience collaborating with healthcare organizations, clinical sites, faculty, preceptors, and other stakeholders • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a matrixed organization and lead initiatives across multiple teams, functions, and external partners • Knowledge of clinical placement processes, affiliation agreements, compliance requirements, clinical education technologies, and site partner expectations preferred • Demonstrated engagement in the profession through practice education leadership, professional associations, committee participation, presentations, publications, or other contributions preferred • MSN from an accredited Nursing program, required • An earned doctorate from a regionally accredited institution in Nursing or closely related fields, required • Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license required • For APRN candidates: active Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner License required • APRN candidates must maintain clinical practice as defined by state licensure, AANP and/or ANCC • All degrees must be conferred from an institution accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to travel as required/needed • Required access to a remote-work setting with privacy, reliable internet access, phone, and video-conferencing capability • Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant • Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available • Ability to meet critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, and computer-access requirements
