📋 Description

• Develop and deploy AI-powered data products based on machine learning over large data sets • Design, evaluate, and roll out models to production using standardized coding best practices • Provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams • Apply expertise in applied AI, model, API, and pipeline creation, and data presentation • Provide strategic influence with Product and Engineering teams to solve problems and identify trends and opportunities • Collaborate with IT managers, data stewards, and data engineers to provision secure, private, scalable, high-quality AI workflows • Translate business needs into innovative and practical AI solutions with measurable outcomes • Ensure AI output is measurable, documented, reproducible, and monitored for performance drift • Implement continuous improvement and model retraining practices • Gather requirements, organize data sources, and support AI model integration throughout the product lifecycle • Provide thought leadership for strategies intended to improve academic outcomes • Support schools and school services teams in adopting actionable data • Identify new opportunities to leverage AI across business units and functions • Promote the use of AI to improve student retention, academic outcomes, and student success • No formal supervisory responsibilities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, or related quantitative field AND six (6) years’ related experience; OR equivalent combination of education and experience • Hands-on experience with modern ML libraries, including Python-based frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn • Understanding of statistical principles • Proficiency with AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform • Ability to design, implement, and maintain robust ML pipelines • Experience with version control, containerization, and CI/CD processes • Ability to validate model outputs and ensure model integrity and reliability • High attention to detail and accuracy • Strong analytical skills • Strong customer service orientation • Professional integrity necessary to maintain confidentiality • Strong planning skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to complete assigned duties within critical deadlines • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) • Proficiency with modern reporting platforms and tools • Ability to grasp complex platform concepts and business models in a digital context • Ability to clear required background check • Master’s/Doctorate preferred • Additional experience with MLOps frameworks such as MLflow or Kubeflow, or advanced ML techniques such as NLP, recommender systems, or deep learning
