📋 Description

• Deliver specific course content in an online environment • Provide instruction, support, and guidance while managing the learning process • Personalize learning and differentiate instruction based on student mastery • Provide synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences • Augment course content using approved online tools and procedures • Maintain the grade book and ensure student academic integrity • Make student placement and promotion decisions • Monitor student progress through Stride K12’s learning management system • Alert administrators to concerns about student performance and progress • Prepare students for high-stakes standardized tests • Establish and maintain positive rapport with families • Communicate with and respond to students, parents, and learning coaches in a timely manner • Support parents and learning coaches with curricular, instructional, and basic virtual-classroom troubleshooting issues • Travel as required for professional development, student testing, and school functions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • Active state teaching license • Florida ESOL and Reading Endorsements • Florida residency • Ability to clear required background check • Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week • Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during the workday • Experience with the proposed age group preferred • Experience supporting adults and children in using technology preferred • Experience teaching in an online or brick-and-mortar environment preferred • Experience with online learning platforms preferred • Ability to interpret and produce numeric, tabular, and graphic representations of student data • Ability to use student data to drive instructional decisions • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint preferred • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms • Ability to maintain teacher certification and professional development hours • Fluency in K12 systems, programs, and curriculum
