📋 Description

• Lead a team within Stripe Billing • Manage a high-performing engineering team • Partner with engineering leaders, product managers, and designers to shape strategy and roadmap • Apply first-principles thinking to complex problems and system design • Foster a healthy team culture with trust and psychological safety • Define processes that enable the team to do its best work in a fast-paced environment • Coach and mentor engineers to support career advancement and skill development • Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives as part of Stripe's engineering management team • Collaborate with recruiting to hire strong engineering talent • Engage directly with users of the Stripe Billing platform

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of engineering management experience • 8+ years of full time software development experience • Consistent track record of hiring and leading productive engineering teams • Experience nurturing healthy, supportive, challenging, diverse, and inclusive work environments • Ability to work in highly cross-functional organizations and lead and measure product outcomes • Strong technical background and hands-on experience solving large-scale and difficult technical problems • Experience building extensible, leveraged software solutions that scale to different kinds of user needs • Ability to thrive with a high level of autonomy and responsibility
